Creating content is one of the most important things a business can do to build influence and share its expertise. Beauty artists such as hair stylists, makeup artists, and nail artists produce most of their work. Their work is used to appeal to the imagination and attract quality business through their portfolios of client and commercial work. They may also have reviews from past clients. Although most of their work is visual, they still need to capture people who aren’t knowledgeable about how they can help them achieve their goals. They also need to capture people who aren’t sure if they're the right person for them.

There are 4 strategies that need to be covered in content marketing: teach, inform, entertain, and entice. Most artists have the entertain and entice strategy down with behind-the-scenes and client work posts. However, they don’t teach and inform as often as they should. It’s probably because they are always busy servicing clients and uploading a photo is much quicker than creating graphics and content. I get that, but I can guarantee that business will grow with elevated content or content that gives more value to their audience.
